**1. Copy the folder**
Copy the `com.markusbergelt.geolayers3` folder to the following directory:

* **Windows:** `C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions\`
* **Mac:** `Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions` 

**2. Run the registry/admin file**

* **Windows:** Run `AE REG For PC.reg`
* **Mac:** Run `install-as-admin`

**3. Configure After Effects Settings**
Open your After Effects settings and check the box for **"Allow Scripts to Write Files and Access Network"**.

*For older versions:*

* **Windows:** Edit > Preferences > General
* **Mac:** After Effects CC > Preferences > General

*For AE CC 2019.1 or higher:*

* **Windows:** Edit > Preferences > Scripting & Expressions
* **Mac:** After Effects CC > Preferences > Scripting & Expressions

**4. Launch the script**
In the top menu of the software, navigate to **Window > Extensions** and open the **GEOlayers 3** script.

**Note:** You will need to provide your own MapTiler API key.
