Why are you shutting down the Yandex.Translate API?
The machine translation service is now available under the name Yandex Translate on Yandex.Cloud.
Is there a difference between the Yandex.Translate API and Yandex Translate service?
Translations are better in Yandex Translate thanks to the use of neural machine translation (NMT) technologies. Machine translation prices are also lower at Yandex Translate.
Is the machine translation service on Yandex.Cloud free?
After signing up at Yandex.Cloud, you gain access to all of its available services, including Yandex Translate. Yandex Translate doesn’t have a free monthly package, but you can use the introductory grant that you receive during registration.
Do I need to create a new Yandex.Passport account?
No, you can use an existing account to start using Yandex Translate on Yandex.Cloud.
Can I use an existing API key to access Yandex Translate?
No, previously issued API keys won’t work with Yandex Translate. To get set up, follow our quickstart guide.
I represent a business. Can I use Yandex Translate?
Yes, you can sign up for a business account if you see your country on the list during registration.
